A few weeks ago, a minimap was introduced for New World, which caused some discussion.
Voices were quickly raised that the use of the addon can lead to bans. From official side there is now an all-clear!

We continue to discuss this particular addon with Overwolf. For now, we have made the decision that client-controlled addons which solely use the position of the player in the world are fine. However, if the functionality changes in a way that violates our Terms of Service, such as integrating other web sites to determine where nodes, paths or safe/unsafe areas of the map are, we will first provide an official change in our stance, and then take action.
